Captain Zach Dubs was born and raised in South Florida. From the time he could walk and learned about fishing, he was hooked. He grew up fishing all over Florida and the Bahamas but has called Jacksonville home since 2008. After Zach moved to Jacksonville, he was on the water every chance he could get. Since then, he’s been mainly focusing on light tackle inshore fishing for redfish, trout, and flounder.
Over the years, his passion grew as he brought friends and family on the boat, some seasoned, others new, to enjoy the experience as they got a fish. The ultimate prize of a day on the water for Capt. Zach is being able to make memories in the amazing backdrops of the North Florida marsh.
Flood tide fishing is a unique experience that occurs when exceptionally high tides push water into normally dry grass flats, creating a temporary feeding ground for fish such as redfish and sheepshead. Anglers “hunt” for these fish in the flooded marsh grass by spotting their tails or other signs of activity and casting artificial lures accurately to where they are feeding to entice an explosive bite.

In addition to the fishing, our trips offer some of the best views of the side of Jacksonville most people don't ever get to see!
